Facts instead of assumptions !
As well as the radiology for medicinic
diagnostics spectrum analysis has the same importance in high-frequency applications.
At a glance the complete spectrum occupation and the corresponding signal levels
are visible.

SpectraBox® / SAT - First
Member of a New Spectrum Analyzer Family
Small, handy and compact. Nearly
the same size as a video cassette and a low weight of hardly 700g make the device
to an ideal companion for installation, maintainance and service applications.
A built-in accumulator allows portable operation for many hours.
All important informations are visible
on a illuminated graphic liquid cristal display.
Thanks to a very low resolution bandwidth
of 0.2MHz very small signals like digital SCPC signals can be detected.
The device is also an ideal supplement
for measurement devices without a spectrum analyzer option. With an additional
splitter it is possible to operate the device in a parallel configuration.
SOME EXEMPLARY APPLICATIONS:
-
Spectrum monitoring, surveillance
& signal identification
-
Measurement of cross polarity
separation & C/N
-
Detection of radiation leakage
& interference and signal sources
-
Broadband measurement of insertion
gain or loss
-
Antenna adjustment & satellite

magazine TELE-satellite International (pages 93&94).
Some equotations:
" ... This device is more
than just a spectrum analyzer. If it is used only for setup of an antenna, many
of its features wouldn`t even be used. ... The logical menu arrangement and its
excellent signal processing deserve high praise."
